You can participate (maximum 8 people) in a typically Venetian dinner with a fish-based menu prepared with ancient Venetian recipes in a home in the Cannaregio neighborhood. The kind Mercedes, owner of the home, will welcome the guests and cook dinner.

RECIPE FOR SARDINES IN SAOR
Ingredients for 4people
1kg of sardines
1kg of onions
20dl of vinegar
White wine to taste
100gr of pine nuts
100gr of raisins
Flour and eggs
Preparation
Remove the head and clean the sardines, wash and leave to drain whilst whole. Make a batter with eggs and flour in which to fry them. Cut the onions into thin slices, cover with salt and leave for a while. Fry the fire onions over a low heat, add a little salt together with a small amount af wine and vinegar. Leave to cool and them add the sardines. Cover everything with the rasins and pine nuts. For best results leave to rest in a cool place for at least a day before.
