Facilities

All of our apartments are equipped for the needs of a family on holiday. Every apartment’s kitchen is provided with tableware, pots and pans, microwave oven, gas oe elecrtic oven, refrigerator with freezer, toaster, as well as everything else that one needs to cook and prepare delicious home-cooked meals.

Many of the apartments are equipped with washing machines and dishwasheres, irons, indipendent heating and air-conditioning systems ( or fans) that enable to you relax in your home during the cold winter and hot summer days.

In order to accommodate those families travelling with babies and toddlers, Venice Holidays has placed a portable baby cot with mattress in every apartment so that our guests can avoid the pain of having to bring the heavy load from home. The baby cots have side enclosures and can comfortably hold a child up to 14 months of age.

Services

Venice Holidays wants to make your vacation unique and unforgettable and for that reason we would like to offer you the following services:

-Home-cooked typical Venetian fish dinner offered by a professional chef in her home.

-”Baccari Tour”: a tour of some of the typical Venetian “osterie” ( pubs), offering appetizers and wine in the small pubs throughout Venice.

-Personal Shopping tours individually customized for you needs.

-Babysitter services.

-Veneto and Friuli Vineyard Tours: Day trips to the countryside to see the winw-making process designed to the guest’s wishes.

-Laundry and Ironing Service or Dry-Cleaning and Ironing Service, directly in your apartment with collecting from  8.30 to 10.00 and delivery next day at the same time. For dry-cleaning delivery min. 3 days.

-We would like to offer daily excursions on a luxury sailboat for up to 10 people.  The vessel is  18 meters long and has 6 cabins that each sleep two people and 5 bathrooms.

Passengers embark is at 8:00 in the morning at the S. Giorgio island, right in front of St. Mark’s square.  The vessel will then take you sailing through the Venetian lagoon, from

Venice to

Chioggia on a two hour trip.  You can admire the small villages and islands nestled in the lagoon, where they seem to float between the sea and the sky.

 

You sail along the canals, immersed in the surrounding nature for the entire trip until the arrival at

Chioggia.  You are given time to explore the small city and at about you enjoy lunch aboard the ship in the middle of the lagoon. 

 

After lunch we sail to Poveglia island at the edge of the lagoon (summer only) where you can take a dip in the sea.  We return to

S. Giorgio at about in the evening.
